Assessing the State of Mid-West Ireland’s Film Production Capacity and Opportunities for Future Growth

Client: Innovate Limerick / Film in Limerick

Location: Mid-West Ireland

Olsberg•SPI (SPI) has been commissioned by Innovate Limerick/Film in Limerick to undertake an in-depth analysis of the Mid-West region of Ireland’s current film production capacity. This looks at its strengths, weaknesses, constraints and capacity gaps in key areas of production, as well as opportunities for future growth.

This study includes a thorough analysis of the Mid-West’s existing production industry infrastructure and resources to provide a detailed assessment of challenges in the region.

This assessment will also identify opportunities to increase current levels of production and establish the Mid-West as a screen production hub.

For further information on this study, please contact Kayleigh Hughes at kayleigh@o-spi.com.

Further information on SPI’s production infrastructure and capacity analysis work can be found here.
