Economic Impact Assessment of the Audiovisual Sector in Spain

Client: Spain Film Commission

Location: Spain

Olsberg·SPI (SPI) has been commissioned by the Spain Film Commission to deliver a new economic impact study of Spain’s audiovisual sector.

Building on its 2024 report Economic Impact Study of Spain’s Rebates for Investments in International Film and Television Series for the Spain Film Commission and PROFILM, this new study will go further, capturing the full scale of film and television production across Spain. Expanding beyond incentivised international projects, the study’s scope will assess the sector’s contribution, covering audiovisual content produced in Spain between 2023 and 2025.

For the study, SPI will work closely with the Spanish experts integrated into the Spain Film Commission Chair in the Film Production Industry, an initiative now entering its third year at Universidad Pablo de Olavide in Seville.

For more information on this study, please contact SPI Consultant kayleigh Hughes on kayleigh@o-spi.com or Marta Moretto on marta@o-spi.com
