Economic Impact Study of Connecticut’s Screen Tax Credits

Client: Connecticut Office of Film, TV & Digital Media

Location: Connecticut, USA

Commissioned by the Connecticut Office of Film, TV & Digital Media, this 2022 study provided an in-depth evaluation of the state’s various screen sector tax credits.

The study examined the direct, indirect and induced economic effects of film, television and digital media production in state, as well as the impact of the incentives on attracting permanent establishments.

Through consultations, additional detail on impacts – including non-economic impacts – was also identified, as well as considering how the incentives might be improved.
