Eleanor Jubb

Associate Director

 

 

Eleanor Jubb is an experienced senior leader, management consultant, and creative industries expert.   

As SPI’s Associate Director, Eleanor contributes to organisation and business development – focusing on SPI’s people, culture and operations, as well as expanding the range of services offered to clients.  

Between 2021 and 2024, Eleanor led SPI’s economic analysis team. During this time, she developed SPI’s methodologies and led studies worldwide, and in several US states (including Georgia, New Mexico and Utah), in Europe (Norway, Estonia and Iceland), Latin America, and Australia and New Zealand. She also contributed to SPI’s work on cultural impact for Screen Ireland and has led evaluations into sector training and investment programmes. Eleanor has also worked on screen sector economic development plans in the English regions, including Cornwall.  

Having started her career in economic development for the public sector, Eleanor has for the last 12 years worked with over 30 organisations in a consultancy and support capacity, focusing on the creative and cultural sector. She worked as the Executive Director for Creative Kernow, a creative industry support charity in her home county of Cornwall, where she delivered a large-scale operational change programme. She is also an experienced workshop facilitator and mentor.  

Prior to joining SPI, Eleanor was a Senior Consultant at BOP Consulting. She led significant research and evaluation projects, particularly focused on creative business support and innovation programmes. Eleanor’s previous clients include UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), the British Council, the Greater London Authority, as well as many Local Authorities and arts organisations. 

Eleanor has an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford, and a MSc in Environmental Economics from UCL.
