SPI Signs New Agreement to Address Global Demand for Training Production Crews and Below-the-Line Professionals

Olsberg•SPI (SPI) is excited to announce a new agreement with the Global Audiovisual Training Center (GATC).

To address the skills shortages that the audiovisual sector is contending with on a global basis, SPI has partnered with the GATC, which offers high-quality bespoke training courses for audiovisual industry professionals, including film commissions. GATC’s current programme includes:

  • Professional Development Program for BTL Technicians – conducted online in English, this includes masterclasses of two to three hours or in-depth training of 16 hours

  • The Global Film & TV Program for Above-the-Line Professionals - an annual five-day experience in Los Angeles for up to 25 professionals from around the world, including meetings, masterclasses and conferences

  • English for Audiovisual Industry Professionals – a five-month course training audiovisual professionals in speaking and comprehension skills required to work on international productions and to advance their careers.
