SPI Consultant to Facilitate Validation Workshop for the Regional Landscape Study for the Establishment of the ASEAN Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries

Olsberg•SPI (SPI) Consultant Joshua Dedman will join a CoSTAR Foresight Lab delegation to Jakarta on 12th – 13th August 2026 for a Regional Landscape Study validation workshop, supporting the establishment of the ASEAN Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries (ACE-CI).

Organised by the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry in partnership with the British Council and the ASEAN Secretariat, the workshop will bring together policy and industry leaders from across ASEAN to validate recent sector mapping and explore ACE-CI's governance, partnerships, financing, and sustainability models. Joshua and fellow CoSTAR Foresight Lab delegate Noemi Ponzoni, Research Lead at i2 media research and Chief Strategy Officer of Futures of Creativity Institute (FOCI), will explore these themes via an interactive session.

The workshop follows the ASEAN–UK Creative Economy Symposium 2026, Navigating Our Creative Future, Together, where Joshua and other CoSTAR Foresight Lab delegates led a workshop series to develop an institutional framework for the ACE-CI.
