Olsberg•SPI (SPI) is proud to announce its involvement in the AHRC-funded CoSTAR network, which was launched this week at the BEYOND Conference.

The CoSTAR network is designed to invest in new research, development and innovation infrastructure for the creative industries. The investment will lead to new facilities, resources and expertise supporting innovation in the screen and performance sub-sectors and maintain the UK’s leading global position.

CoSTAR consists of a National Lab, three Network Labs, and a Foresight Lab that will ensure the UK has the skills and infrastructure to stay on the cutting edge of new virtual production techniques in film, television, and live events.

As a delivery partner in the CoSTAR Foresight Lab, SPI will be collaborating with Goldsmiths, University of London, the BFI, Loughborough University London, The University of Edinburgh and other partners, contributing expertise in creative industries strategy and policy.

SPI will provide intelligence on international research, technology and industry trends to best ensure the effectiveness and relevance of the network’s outputs.
