Evaluation of the Film and Television Sector in Hertsmere

In October 2022, Hertsmere Borough Council appointed Olsberg•SPI to evaluate the film and television sector in Hertsmere. The study assessed the Hertsmere production environment and mapped the existing Hertsmere production offer. To evaluate the impact of the screen sector on Hertsmere, the study situated Hertsmere within regional, national and global contexts.

The Hertsmere area includes Elstree Studios, a key centre for the UK screen sector, and a location with a rich heritage in film and television.
