Economic Impact Assessment of the Arkansas Digital Motion Picture Incentive

Client: Executive Subcommittee of the Arkansas Legislative Council (ALC)

SPI was commissioned by the ALC to undertake an economic impact assessment of the Arkansas Digital Motion Picture Incentive. The study considered the holistic impact of the incentive program, including economic impacts and broader evidence and analysis of screen production’s strategic value to Arkansas. 

The study also provided recommendations for the development of the screen production industry in state. The recommendations considerd potential improvements to the structure – and the administration process – of the incentive, while leveraging existing state-wide and industry-specific strengths.
