In 2022, SPI was commissioned by Creative England’s Filming in England to develop a Toolkit that will support English local authorities to demonstrate the economic impact of filming within their jurisdictions.

Key features of the Toolkit include a Regional Impact Tool, an Incoming Production Checklist, an Average Local Production Spend Rate Card, a Production Tracker Template, among other resources.

With consistent use by the over 200 local authorities across England, the Toolkit promises to have long-lasting and far-reaching effects on how the English screen sector is accurately measured and valued.
