SPI has provided advisory services relating to the intention to create a new fund to invest in feature films. The services required have been twofold; firstly to provide advice on the business and investment strategy for the fund and, secondly, to assist in the preparation of a business plan or prospectus-style document, that articulates this strategy.

In early 2010, SPI was commissioned by UK Film Council to produce a report that would assist the UK Film Council Board in its deliberations on a possible new paradigm for building UK-based film companies of scale (where film production is a major element of the business model).

SPI was retained by Film Location Finland to facilitate a high profile round table meeting of Finnish professionals in the audiovisual industry, with the purpose of starting the lobbying of a financial incentive for Finland to attract more international film and television productions to shoot in Finland.
