OlsbergSPI (SPI) CEO Leon Forde will speak at the inaugural World Screen Tourism Summit – SET-JET 25, which takes place at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre (ICC) on 21st November 2025.

The Summit will bring together UK and international speakers to discuss the growing area of screen tourism and its relevance to film, television, video games and the wider visitor economy. The programme will feature case studies and market insights on how productions can contribute to destination marketing and economic development.

Alongside Leon, speakers will include Andy Harries OBE (Producer of The Crown), Patricia Yates (CEO of VisitBritain), Adrian Wootton OBE (CEO of the British Film Commission), as well as representatives from Austria, New Zealand, Norway and the USA.

In partnership with Black Country Living Museum, SPI is conducting a pilot study to assess the scale and impact of tourism to the museum driven by the television series Peaky Blinders (2013-2022). As part of this study, SPI is developing a new methodology to track screen tourism impacts. The results of this study will be presented at Set-Jet 2025.

As a partner of the event, SPI is offering a discounted delegate rate of £80 off the registration fee. Use the code “OLSBERG2025”in the association-member registration box at https://set-jet25.net and there is an early-bird registration rate available until Monday 13th October 2025.
