SPI to Undertake Analysis of Norway’s Film and Series Incentive Scheme

Filming of Mission Impossible 6 at Pulpit Rock

Norway’s Ministry of Culture and Equality has commissioned Olsberg•SPI (SPI) to conduct an analysis of Norway’s incentive scheme for film and series production.

This study will investigate the impact of the incentive to date and use this insight to inform a Cost Benefit Analysis of a number of potential design changes. This broad assessment will consider the incentive’s economic, reputational and cultural impact, as well as its impact on career opportunities for the Norwegian film and tv workforce.

Further information on SPI’s impact studies can be found here.
