SPI to Undertake Study on Potential Impacts of a National Audiovisual Production Incentive in Brazil

Leia esta história em português aqui.

OlsbergSPI (SPI) is undertaking an independent study that evaluates the potential impacts of a new national incentive for Brazil.

While Brazil is a significant and key market in the global audiovisual sector, it does not currently offer a national production incentive of the kind now widely implemented.

SPI’s study will contain numerous components. These components include:

  • A detailed analysis of the current Brazilian production landscape

  • An assessment of specific economic impacts that a national incentive could have for the Brazilian economy

  • An analysis of wider strategic impacts that increased production stimulated by a national production incentive could have for Brazil.

SPI recently undertook a similar study for a national incentive in Mexico.
