Winners of Global Production Awards 2025 Announced at Cannes
Last night (20th May 2025), Olsberg•SPI (SPI) celebrated the third edition of the Global Production Awards in Cannes.
Organised by Screen International, with SPI as a supporting partner, the Global Production Awards acknowledge the unsung heroes of the international screen production sector by shining a light on the outstanding initiatives and stand-out work from film and television production companies, locations, industry bodies and studios.
The event awarded a range of categories, including important acknowledgements for sustainability productions and initiatives, community impact, diversity and inclusion, production innovation, emerging locations, film commission team, to name a few.

Film Commission Of The Year - City/Region - BC Film Commission at Creative BC (Canada)
Film Commission Of The Year - Country - Spain Film Commission (Spain)
Impact Leadership Award - Craig Gainsborough, Greenlit (New Zealand)
Location Of The Year - Ravenscourt Park Hospital, UK (Location Collective)
Outstanding Use Of Locations - Touch (Focus Features & Universal Pictures, US)
Studio Of The Year - Cinespace Studios Toronto (Canada)
Sustainability Initiative - Re-Set Programme (Garden Studios, UK)
Sustainable Production Award - Film - Love Hurts (Universal Filmed Entertainment Group, US)
Sustainable Production Award - TV - Awesome Animals And Mini Me (Three Arrows Media, Final Pixel & Sky Kids, UK)
Virtual Production Innovation - Virtual Audiovisual Production White Paper & EI Escorial Digital Assets (Spain Film Commission, Spain)
