Olsberg|SPI has undertaken the following assignments for European Commission:

MEDIA TRAINING
Olsberg|SPI has been carrying out a major review of continuous training acrivities in the audiovisual sector in Europe for the MEDIA Programme. The study covers 32 countries including 15 Member States, the 10 Accession States joining the European Union in May, and four Candidate countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Turkey), with a particular focus on the Accession States.

MEDIA VIDEO SCHEME
MEDIA has retained Olsberg|SPI to conduct a study in relation to a new 'automatic' scheme to support the distribution of European video/DVD outside its country of origin.

EUROPEAN RATINGS
Olsberg|SPI has been retained, along with Kern European Affairs and KPMG, to conduct a review of the structure and practice of feature film ratings throughout the territories of the EU and the EEA and across all media. This major study is currently underway and findings are expected to be presented in August of this year.
