Olsberg|SPI has undertaken the following assignments for British Screen Advisory Council:

INTERNET STRATEGY
We advised Britain’s leading film and television trade organisation on issues concerning how the internet could further BSAC’s goals and objectives. This assignment resulted in the review of some fundamental issues regarding the organisation’s business purpose, activities and membership.

REVIEW OF PRODUCTION SUPPORT MECHANISMS
British Screen Advisory Council, Producers Association for Cinema and Television, British Film Commission, Ernst and Young, London. A study to review support mechanisms for film production in the United Kingdom and five countries seen as competitors in attracting productions. This included all public funding sources, both regional and national, and the financial incentives available in each country. The report also examined the factors affecting a producer’s decision on where to locate a film, film production facilities available in each of the six countries, and the likely cost of using these facilities. The final report was used by the clients as part of the successful argument to the British Treasury to provide financial support to film production in Britain.
