Archive sector awarded £25 millionSPI recently assisted the UK Film Heritage Group - a group comprising BFI, UK Film Council, Regional Film Archives and other stakeholders - in the creation of a business plan for the National Strategy for Screen Heritage. SPI conducted research, consulted widely with stakeholders and provided organisational suggestions for the sector. In the recent Comprehensive Spending Review the archive sector was awarded £25 million pounds to move the final strategy forward and secure the future of the nation's audiovisual heritage.
